Dedicated to Helping You Achieve Your Real Estate Goals
This podcast is a dynamic exploration of culture, technology, politics, and real estate—with a distinctively Los Angeles lens. As a native Angeleno who grew up on the Westside and returned to the city during the 1984 Olympics, I’ve witnessed firsthand the evolution of this vibrant metropolis. Back then, L.A. was a shining jewel: no homelessness, minimal graffiti, low illegal immigration, low crime, and manageable traffic. The city flourished during the Olympics, showcasing its best to the world. The economy was strong, housing was affordable, and rents were low. People were upbeat, and tourists flocked to experience the energy of the city.
Remember the Sunset Strip in its heyday? It was electrifying. Bands rocked legendary venues like the Whisky a Go Go, the Rainbow Bar, and Gazzarri’s, while the streets buzzed with youthful energy. Restaurants and bars were packed, and the airwaves were dominated by iconic radio stations like KRTH, KLOS, and KROQ. It was a time when face-to-face connections thrived—long before cell phones, the internet, and dating apps. Meeting people was effortless, whether you were a native or a transplant from Chicago, New York, Northern California, or even across the ocean. Once you arrived in L.A., the city welcomed you, and more often than not, you stayed.
What truly made Los Angeles magical were the people. Back then, Angelenos were a unique mix of the eccentric, the creative, the groovy, and the outrageously fun. It was a melting pot of personalities and cultures that shaped the city’s character. Those connections left a lasting impression on me.
My career in real estate has deepened my connection to this city. Over the decades, I’ve gained an intimate knowledge of Southern California—from the Valley to Downtown L.A., the Westside, the Eastside, the South Bay, Pasadena, Palos Verdes, and beyond. I’ve sold properties everywhere, experiencing firsthand the nuances of each neighborhood. I was also an early adopter of technology in real estate, getting my first computer in the late ‘80s and diving into the tech world. I recognized early on how critical technology would be to the industry. From creating one of the first email accounts on Prodigy to securing the DigitalRealtor.com domain, I’ve stayed ahead of the curve, making me one of the most tech-savvy realtors you’ll ever meet.
In addition to real estate, I’ve cultivated a deep interest in politics—local, state, national, and international. Staying informed about the political landscape has shaped my understanding of how policies and trends impact our daily lives and the real estate market. As a self-proclaimed podcast junkie, I’ve always appreciated the art of storytelling and the power of sharing diverse perspectives.
This podcast will blend all these passions and experiences. It will be a space to share stories, insights, and conversations with fellow Angelenos who have their own fascinating tales to tell. From culture to tech, from politics to the ever-evolving real estate market, this podcast will capture the essence of Los Angeles and the people who make it extraordinary. I can’t wait to embark on this journey with you and share the stories that make L.A. so special.

My Bio
Yes, I am a rare creature–a native Angeleno! I was born in the small L.A. suburb of Montebello and could not imagine living anywhere but Southern California. L.A. is truly home for me. However, I spent a few years living in Northern California during my high school years and moved back in 1984.
I love the L.A. lifestyle. I love biking the Venice bike path, skiing our local mountains, and hanging out at Hinano Café in Venice Beach. I also grew up surfing and spent over forty-five years enjoying that quintessential California sport.
I also love live music and concerts. I’ve seen shows at the Greek, Staples, So Fi Stadium, the Ford theater, Hollywood Bowl, Santa Monica Civic, the Coliseum, the Rainbow, the Roxy, the Viper Room the Rose Bowl, The Whiskey a go go, and a ton of other L.A venues. From cruising PCH, catching a Lakers game at Staples Center, or catching some waves, there is always something to do here.
I’ve been a broker in L.A. for 39 years. I know the ins and outs of this city and So Cal intimately. Like Johnny Cash said, “I’ve been everywhere man”.
I’ll be covering culture, politics, tech, and real estate in this podcast. I also have met and known so many interesting Angelenos. I look forward to interviewing them and showcasing their talents and stories to my audience. I hope you enjoy listening to their stories.
